Key Points for NEET 2021 Cut Off

  • Students must appear in the NEET 2021 examination for admission in various Undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc.
  • Interested students must give the NEET examination for the admission into the undergraduate courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy).

Tie-Breaker in NEET 2021

If students obtain the same marks in the NEET 2021 exam then the tie-breaking rule will be applied. The following method will be used for tie-breaking:

  • First, the student securing higher marks in Biology will be given a higher rank.
  • Then, the student securing higher marks in Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
  • After that, the student with the lesser number of wrong answer attempts among the two will be given a higher rank.
  • Finally, if the tie continues, students older in age will be given priority.

NEET 2021 Counselling and Seat Allotment 

After the declaration of the result of NEET 2021, candidates can register themselves for the NEET 2021 counselling round. They can participate in the counselling process according to the rank they score in the NEET 2021. The NEET 2021 counselling for the 15% All India Quota seats will be organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and counselling for rest 85% state quota seats are regulated by the respective authority. The NEET 2021 counselling process will be conducted online and candidates can fill the choice of the colleges according to their rank list.

  • NTA will publish a 15% AIQ Merit List to complete the admission test to the dental and medical colleges.
