NEET Exam Centres 2021: Check list of latest NEET 2021 Test cities and centers with codes

Due to the pandemic of COVID-19, NTA has increased the number of NEET Exam centres to ensure the regulations of social distancing implementation in the NEET 2021. NTA has released the NEET 2021 Exam Centre List recently. The authority has also started the NEET 2021 application process from July 13 onwards. Students have the option to give their choices of top 4 centres from NEET 2021 exam centre list as per their preference but the final NEET exam centre allotment will be done by the examination authorities. Though the authorities will try to incorporate the preferences of the students while allotting the centres, the students cannot request for the NEET centre change. NTA has also released the NEET exam dates 2021 at their official site. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 12, 2021.

Latest Updates:

  • NTA has announced that Dubai will also be made an international centre for NEET exam along with Kuwait city.
  • Candidates can now choose 4 exam centres while filling up the NEET 2021 application form instead of 3.
  • NEET 2021 correction period will start from August 8 to 12, 2021.

NTA has established a wide network of test centres for the aspirants from rural areas. Therefore, the candidates who are willing to complete their UG coursework in AYUSH (that is Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) can apply for NEET 2021 Exam.

Process of Choosing NEET 2021 Exam Centres

NEET exam centre allotment to the aspirants is done by NTA. The candidates should choose four preferable NEET exam centres while filling the NEET Application 2021 form. Note: Candidates should double check every entry, based on their accessibility. NTA will not be responsible for any incorrect information filled in the application form. All the candidates are advised to follow the below mentioned process while choosing the NEET 2021 Exam Centres:

  • Once the students login to their account, they need to provide detailed information related to their choice of preferences.
  • The booking slots for online exams are dependent upon a first come first serve basis. There are eight different settings for online exams.
  • You are advised to book your slots as soon as possible. Kindly note it down that queries related to the same matter will not be entertained.
  • The aspirants from Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir should bring their Aadhaar Card number to the exam centre. Otherwise they must choose the exam centres only within their state respectively.

NEET 2021 Exam Day Instructions 

  • No entry will be allowed after 1:30 PM so candidates are advised to reach the exam centre on time.
  • Candidates must carry their NEET 2021 Admit Card at the exam centre.
  • The applicants must carry a passport-sized photograph at the exam centre to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • Without the NEET 2021 admit card, candidates will not be allowed into the exam centre.
  • Candidates are advised not to carry any personal belongings at the exam centre may or may not be allowed to keep anything at the NEET 2021 exam centre.
  • No applicants will be allowed in the NEET 2021 exam centre with any digital instrument such as calculator, mobiles.
  • If any candidate is found with any digital instrument then his/her exam will be cancelled.
  • The students are advised to book their NEET 2021 exam centre as early as they can to avoid being allocated randomly by the exam authority.

Documents Needed at NEET 2021 Exam Centre’s

On the NEET 2021 exam day, the aspirants should carry NEET 2021 admit cards and few other essential documents. Go through the following content in order to get to know about the essential testimonials, which are needed to carry on the NEET 2021 exam day.

  • One passport size photograph which will be attached with the NEET admit card.
  • Another passport size photograph will be attached with the attendance sheet.
  • You will need to show your valid identity proof. Do not forget to carry your PwD certificate (if applicable).
  • Candidates need to sign the undertaking given in the Admit Card.
  • One postcard size coloured photograph (4”*6”), which has been taken in white background, will need to be attached with the downloaded Proforma. It will need to be handed over to the invigilator.

To enter the exam hall, the aspirants should bring all the aforementioned documents along with admit cards.

Guidelines Follow to the Disabled Candidates in NEET 2021 Exam

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released the NEET examination guidelines for the disabled aspirants on 23rd April, 2019. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment issued the notice on 29th September, 2018. These rules will be implemented during the NEET 2021 exam. Read the following guidelines to find the revised rules and regulations for the disabled candidates:

  • Considering the improvement in technology in new avenues, it is necessary to start a uniform and comprehensive policy for the benchmark disabled candidates.
  • No added advantages or criteria for the regular candidates.
  • The disabled benchmark candidates will get the facilities like scribe/reader or lab assistant.
  • Aforementioned facilities will be provided once a certificate of their disability will be submitted. The certificate should highlight the fact that the candidate is unable to write. Consequently, he needs a scribe to write the exam, on his behalf.
  • Candidates will get the opportunity to choose their own scribe. In order to check his suitability, the candidate will get a chance to meet with the scribe two days before the exam.
  • In case of providing the scribe to the disable candidates from the examination authority, then the scribe should not be more than matriculate qualification.
  • If the candidate brings a scribe on their own, then the aspirant needs to submit the details and qualifications of the scribe.
  • In case of an emergency, the aspirants can ask for more than one scribe to complete the writing of the papers. For instance, one scribe for each paper is allowed.

Some More Tips for Disabled Candidates

  • The disabled candidates are required to select the mode of giving the written test that is Computer/Braille/large print. Apart from this, the candidates will be able to record the answers.
  • Benchmark disabled candidates will be able to check their system prior to the exam, if they choose the computer based mode. Besides, if they find any discrepancy, they can rectify it immediately.
  • Candidates are allowed to carry gadgets like talking calculator, braille slate, geometry kit, abacus, tailor frame, communication chart, braille measuring tape and electronic devices etc.
  • The sitting arrangement for the disable candidates will be at the ground floor.
  • Once the exam starts, the disabled candidates will get the supplementary sheets timely.
  • In case of open examination, the examining body will provide reading material in Braille/e-text and special computer screen reading software.
  • The hearing-impairment candidates will get alternative objective questions.
