The government of Rajasthan decided to add 300 new MBBS seats in the state medical colleges. The government focused on developing the health infrastructure of the state by developing new medical colleges. Vaibhav Galaria, Secretary of Medical Education, Rajasthan said that the construction of three new medical colleges in Rajasthan state is in progress. Our target is to complete all these colleges from the starting of a new session.
These three medical colleges are to be built in Ganganagar, Chittorgarh, and Dholpur cities of Rajasthan state. The 300 seats in MBBS are to be increased after the starting of these colleges. For this, the government officials organized a meeting on Saturday and officially informed us that we are going to increase 300 seats in the MBBS course and the three new medical colleges will start from the next session. This decision of the Rajasthan Government will strengthen the health infrastructure of the state.
In this meeting, Sri Ganganagar MLA Rajkumar Gaur was also present. He said that this is a revolutionary decision of the Rajasthan government and the government is ready to give more funds for this project through state government funds and MLA funds also. It will be proven as a boon for the health policy of the state. After starting these colleges the public can avail the health facilities easily and other medical facilities would also increase through this. He said that these medical colleges would have all the facilities and equipment to avail for the public at a minimum cost. He also said if the allotted fund will-less I will give the extra fund from MLA funds.
As per the Times of India report, Medical Education Commissioner Shiwangi Swarnkar said that the inspection will be done by respected officials before starting these new colleges. He said that the inspection will be done in April month before starting a new session. The new session will start in May month. These colleges will provide new opportunities to the medical aspirants to get admission in these colleges and to make their bright career in the profession of a doctor.
To get admission to these medical colleges, candidates need to crack the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) exam to secure a seat in their desired college. The online admission counseling is to be done based on the score in NEET (UG) exam. The seats are allotted to candidates and they need to report to the allotted institutes to get admission. Rajasthan state offers a total of 3683 MBBS seats to get admission in various medical colleges in Rajasthan state.
It’s a very good decision of the Rajasthan government appreciated by the public and students also. It provides strength to the health infrastructure of the state. The increase in seats provides opportunities to those students who don’t get admission to medical colleges with fewer marks. This will save your time to prepare again for the exam and they also fulfill their dream by getting admission to their dream institute.
