NEET Super Specialty 2020 to Conduct Unlikely In July Or August

The National Board of Education or NBE conducts the NEET SS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Super Specialty) exam as per the admission schedule specified in the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations (PGMER), 2000. The exam authority has announced that the exam could be conducted in July or August due to the spread of COVID-19.

In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the NBE, which is conducting various postgraduate medical entrance exams, has already differed the exit exams of MS, MD and DNB Board speciality candidates across the country.

Due to the ongoing spread of the coronavirus all over the world, the exit exam of MS, MD and DNB Board speciality have been postponed. On Friday, 15 May 2020, The board said in the statement that, it is also unlikely their final exam results will be announced by the 15 July 2020, which is the cut off date according to the current regulations to nominate MD, MS and DNB Board Specialty exit examination as qualified to appear in the respective admission year’s NEET SS.

The final exam date of the NEET super speciality exam will be declared on the official website. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NBE website. 

What’s Next in NEET-SS?

NBE Will release the application form for NEET SS and form can be filled in online mode only. Candidates who have completed their MD, MS or DNB degree or its equivalent from the recognised universities will be eligible to apply for the NEET-SS.
