NTA NEET 2021 Update: New Portal For 2021 Now Active, Registrations Soon; Check Details

The official website for NEET 2021 has been launched by NTA. Candidates can visit the neet.nta.nic.in. However, the application form is not yet open.

On June 2, 2021, the National Testing Agency has launched the official website for NEET 2021. NTA will announce all latest updates regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 on – neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET Application Form 2021 will be released soon, as per a notification on the new portal. NTA is also expected to release the official brochure having details on eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam dates along with the application form.

NEET New Website 2021

NEET (UG) 2021 is a national level entrance test conducted for admission to medical colleges throughout the country. Aspirants can get admission to various medical courses like MBBS and BDS in the medical institutes all over the country. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode.

NEET UG 2021 Exam Date

As per the notification released by NTA, NEET UG 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on September 12, 2021. The Ministry of Education has also notified NEET 2021 syllabus will not be impacted by the reduction in Class XII syllabus. However, the spread of the 2nd wave of the pandemic and spike in COVID-19 cases has led to an uncertain situation. An update about any change in the scheduled date can be expected in June and July 2021. Do note that CBSE Boards for class XII have been cancelled.

NEET UG 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate is required to pass 10+2 from any recognized board of education with at least 50% marks. They must have studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics as compulsory subjects. The upper age limit for candidates is 25 years while the lower age limit is 17 years as on 31st December 2021.

What After the Release of Website?

NTA will commence the registrations for NEET 2021 soon. The application form is expected to be filled by approximately 16 lakh aspirants. NEET Admit Card 2021, Answer Key and Results will also be released on the new official website upon subsequent events of the exam. The registered candidates will be able to login through the application number and password. They can check the application status and other details by logging in once they register.
