NEET 2020 Aspirants getting Fake calls and SMS, NTA Warns Candidates

Candidates applied for NEET 2020 are getting fake calls and SMS asking for their personal details and application information. NTA on Monday informed candidates that these calls are not done on behalf of the exam authority. NTA asked students to not disclose any personal details in response to calls, SMS or email. NTA does not ask any personal details of candidates through calls or SMS.

The statement released by the NTA, “All the candidates who are going to appear for NEET (UG) 2020 examination are informed that NTA does not ask for any personal information through call, SMS or e-mail. If any such calls or messages/emails are received, please do not share any information.”

The exam authority, NTA, said that they will take strict action against these fraudulent calls. NTA asked NEET 2020 appearing candidates and their parent to follow the information provided on the official website. Candidates are advised to not respond to any calls or SMS.

NTA will conduct the NEET 2020 exam on 26 July. As it is an offline paper, NTA has doubled the NEET Exam centre to maintain the social distancing.
