On the basis of qualification codes for NEET 2020, candidates can fill the qualifying exam code as per eligibility criteria. This exam is held for the selection in the various medical fields such as MBBS and BDS programmes which are organized by various medical and dental colleges in India. Code method is given by CBSE to fulfill the various criterion for different reasons. When candidate fills their forms they need to be aware of these 7 codes. NEET Qualification Codes
Candidates appearing in class 12th & the result will be out in 2020 & if they qualify the examination (10+2) with the required percentage of marks at the time of first round of counseling than they would only be eligible to get admission in the MBBS or BDS programme.
Aspirants who clear their Senior or Higher secondary examination or having a certificate of Indian School which is equivalent to class 12th senior or higher examination after a duration of 12 years of studies. Candidate need to qualify their examination in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, & Biology (that includes practice tests in the given subjects) & an optional subject like Mathematics with English which is compulsory & it should not be less than core course for English as per the order was given by NCERT after a brief introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
It is mandatory for all the candidates to be regular in Class 11th & 12th having PCB as their core subjects. Candidates who have done their 10+2 from NIOS, State Open School or from the private school would not be eligible to apply for the NEET (UG) examination. Even, the study of Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject at 10+2 levels also are not permissible.
There is no as such specific content of the course for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, therefore, if candidates want to take admissions in Medical College, they will have to go through Pre-Professional training for at least one year.

Aspirants who have done their intermediate examination or Pre-degree examination in science stream from any recognized body or from the Indian University/Board which are having Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology & also includes practical tests in all the 3 subjects, as well as the English subject is mandatory.
Code 4 is for those candidates who have done their 12th standard from Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination with Pre-medical / Pre-professional Examination in the stream of PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology including practical subjects) and a compulsory subject i.e. English.
Students who are pursuing their graduation or in the 1st year of three years course from a recognized university having the subjects PCB which includes practical tests in all three subjects provided the examination is a University Examination. And those candidates also who have passed their exams in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology along with a level English not less than a core course.
This code is for those candidates who have done their B.Sc. examination from an Indian University or well-recognized university with a level not less than 2 of the given subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology. They should also have done their intermediate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Students who have appeared for any other examination like any state boards or any other board (last 02 years of 10+2 Study consist of these 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology which includes the practical test in all the given subjects) which have similar scope and standards and is approx. equal to Science stream & course of class 12th as per Indian University/Board pattern, with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Biology including practical examination in all three subjects & English as a compulsory subject.
This code is for those candidates & made eligible to them for NEET entrance examination who have passed any of the qualifying examinations as given above or appearing in the qualifying examination in 2020. For the eligibility of candidates in NEET competitive Entrance Test, they must have cleared in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology & English individually with a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB when taken together in the intermediate exam as per the conditions given by exam regulating body. To take admissions in MBBS/BDS courses candidate must have come in the merit list of NEET 2020 or cleared the cutoff of NEET exam.
For the category of SC/ST, they have to score minimum 40% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, & Biology when taken together. Any candidates belong to PWD, they must get minimum 45% in all these 3 subjects when calculated in total.
Students who are from outside India & seeking admissions in India in the medical field, they should have done their intermediate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, & Biology having minimum 50% in their when taken together & English as a mandatory Subject.
If the candidate does not fall under these codes from 1 to 7 then he/she would not be eligible for the NEET entrance examination.
