Starting this year, Symbiosis SET Law Test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), Symbiosis SET Design Test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Symbiosis SET Engineering Test as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE).

The exam is scheduled to be held in two sessions- morning and evening, on May 5, 2018. Aspiring students can register themselves for the exam on or before April 14, 2018. With just two months left for the examination, candidates must gear up their preparation in order to ace the examination.

Below we have mentioned few tips and tricks that one can follow to enhance their preparation for SET 2018.

1. Understand Your Syllabus

The first and foremost step to prepare for the examination is to familiarize yourself with its syllabus. SET consists of 5 different papers, pertaining to different fields. These fields are divided into – Law, General, Engineering, Health Sciences and Design.

Syllabus for each of these papers is different than the other. However your approach towards it should be the same. Start by identify your strong and weak points. Once you are done, prepare a schedule to work on perfecting your strong areas and strengthen your weak areas to save your score during the exam.

2. Time Management

Time management is the key to success. Remember, every single aspirant has the same number of 24 hours in a day like you. What differentiates your final performance from theirs is how well you are able to manage your time before and during the examination.

Prepare a schedule to stay on track with your studies and to ensure that you do not miss out any important topics for the exam. Pick chapters according to importance and weightage in the exam. Make sure your schedule consists of regular short breaks of 10-15 minutes to freshen up your mind.
