CBSE has added 43 new exam centers for NEET 2018.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for announcing the list of NEET Exam Centers. Students can give their choices of top 3 exam centers as per their preference. But the final examination center will be allotted by the examination authorities and cannot be changed.

The section of NEET exam centers will be done on first come first serve basis. The name of the final allotted examination will only be shown on the NEET Admit card. NEET examination is conducted on 6th May 2018(Declared).

Exam Center Allotted According to Language Chosen

NEET Exam center will be allotted as per the medium of paper. The examination will be conducted in 11 different languages i.e. Hindi, English, Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, Oriya and Gujarati. Students, who want to give exam in the vernacular language, must select the choices available for them according to the medium of paper.

In the year 2017, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has added 23 examination cities in the list of NEET Exam Centers for the convenience of Rural Area Students. The government has also established NEET examination centers in Rural Areas of District Level.

Important Instructions

  • Students will not be allowed to enter the examination center after 9:30 AM in Session 1 and after 3:15 PM in Session 2.
  • It is mandatory for the students to carry admit card along with them otherwise they will not be permitted to enter the examination center.
  • Students can only take admit card, photographs and ID proof along with them in the examination hall
  • Applicants are not allowed to bring any stationary item in the examination hall
  • All the things related to the stationary will be provided by the authority in the exam hall
  • Seat number and roll number will be assigned to the candidate if students found to write the exam other than the allocated seat then their candidature will be cancelled
  • The examination center will only be selected by the candidate in online mode.

Ques.1) Can students change their NEET examination center after allotment of the admit card?

No, once the examination center is allocated cannot be changed.

Ques.2) What can students bring in the examination center?

In the examination center, students can bring an Admit card, one postcard size photograph and one passport size photograph

Ques.3) Can students be able to appear for the exam without admit card?

No, without admit card students are not allotted to enter the examination hall

Ques.4) On what basis examination center will be allocated?

Examination center will be allocated on the basis of student’s choice and availability of corresponding exam centers. If the student’s chosen a vernacular language then the examination center will be allocated accordingly.

Ques.5) Are the NEET examination centers all available in all states?

Yes, NEET examination centers are available in all states of India.

Ques.6) How many NEET exam centers are available across the country?

There are a total number of 104 exam centers across the country.
