Admission Process in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi

Candidates must clear the NEET cut off as prescribed by the college. Applicants must produce original as well as photocopies of NEET score card and other documents (proof of educational qualifications) at the time of admissions.

In case of candidates having a tie in NEET score, preference will be given in the following order:

  • Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology/Bio-Technology in the NEET 2018
  • Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the NEET 2018
  • Candidate older in age

MAMC Admission Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has either passed or appearing in the 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized State/ Central board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects of study is eligible. He/ She must also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in HSC. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, the minimum percentage required is 40%. Physically handicapped students from general category must have secured 45% marks. Indian citizen and Overseas citizens of India can apply for admissions.

Candidate must be of minimum 17 years in age on or before December 31, 2018 and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31, 2018. SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible for relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit.

About NEET 2018 Examination

  • National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an All India medical entrance test conducted for admissions to Central and State Government Medical Institutions by CBSE. Applications will have to be filled online only through CBSE official website.
  • 15% of the seats will be under the central government institutes offering MBBS and BDS. The rest 85% will be filled by state level institutions.
  • All India Quota (15%) seats will be filled through counseling by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
  • The exam will be conducted at over 100 centres across the country.

NEET 2018 Application Fess

For the general category candidates applying for test, application fee is INR 1000 (INR 2000 with late fee). Whereas, as per the relaxed fee norms for SC, ST and PH applicants, application fee is INR 550 (INR 1550 with late fee).
