NTA will release NEET 2019 Admit Card on April 15, 2019. NEET Application Form 2019 is available between November 1 and 30, 2018. NEET will be conducted by NTA on May 5, 2019.

This exam is conducted for medical aspirants who want to take admission in MBBS and BDS courses offered by various medical and dental colleges in India. NTA has released the exam schedule for NEET at their official site.
Candidates who have successfully applied for NEET 2019 will be able to download the admit card.

Things you should know about Admit card:

  • Admit card will only be available at official website
  • There will be no facility of offline admit card
  • A copy of the admit card in PDF format will be send to the candidate’s registered email id

How to download NEET 2019 Admit Card

Candidates are required to download admit card from the official website. Candidates can follow the given instructions to download Admit card:

  • Visit the official website @
  • Click on NEET 2019 Admit Card link
  • Login with the required credentials i.e. Application number, Date of birth and Security Pin
  • Click on submit button
  • Download the Admit card and save for the future reference

NEET 2019 Exam Pattern

NEET Exam shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions and the time duration for the NEET exam is 3 hours. NEET Question paper in  the form of MCQ (Multiple choice question) which contains 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). NEET Question paper will be set in 11 languages. You can choose your regional language with English as compulsory subject. The responses to be marked on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet (OMR sheet) using Ball Point Pen. The syllabus for NEET 2019 notified by the Medical Council of India.

Important instructions for NEET 2019

Candidates should keep in mind the following instructions in order to appear for the exam:

  • You should carry the print out of the downloaded admit card. You are not allowed to give the exam if you do not carry admit card
  • You must reach examination hall with their admit card, valid id proof like Aadhar Card and passport size photograph which is same as admit card photo
  • Candidates are suggested to reach exam center before 11:30 am. The exam center will be opened 2.5 hours before the commencement of exam
  • No candidate shall be allowed to enter in the examination center after 1:30 p.m.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any material except the Admit Card, Aadhar Card and photographs inside the examination hall
  • If any candidate will be found in cheating or using any unfair means, their candidature will be cancelled and they will not be eligible for exam
  • Candidates are suggested to sit in their allotted seats. If anyone is found on another seat or room, their exam will be cancelled. He/ She is not allowed to give an exam.

Dress Code for NEET 2019

While appearing for NEET 2019 candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code:

  • Light clothes with half sleeves
  • Not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with salwar/Trouser
  • No shoes only slippers and sandals are allowed with low heels

In case candidates are coming in customary dress, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting i.e. 12:30 pm, to get frisked properly.

Ques: Do I need Coloured Admit Card?

Ans: It is not mandatory to have a coloured admit card but it is advisable to have it because it will have a clear photograph and signature.

Ques: What should I do if I am not able to log in or unable to download the NEET admit card 2018?

Ans: In case candidates are unable to login and download NEET 2018 admit card, they don’t have to become impatient. Errors and unable to login can be due to huge traffic on CBSE portal. Candidate will have to wait for some time until the traffic clears up.
