Minister NEET 2018: Ensures Better Standards, Curbs Malpractices

The Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey has recently stated in a Rajya Sabha session that the centralized National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination for medical courses across the country has shown betterment in its expected process. This has been proven through the least noted cases of malpractices in the recent years. He added that such robust standards also motivate the other entrance authorities of medical education (such as AIIMS) in carrying out their exams in a streamlined manner. National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post graduate (NEET PG) on January 7, 2018. The results were declared on January 23, 2018. NBE is only responsible for conducting the test and declaring the results.Results are available on the website Candidates need to login to the website using their NEET PG Roll number, their date of birth and security captcha to download their scorecard. NEET PG Application Form 2018: Check full details @

The application form of NEET PG 2018 was made available in online window format on October 31, 2017. The last date to fill NEET PG application form 2018 was November 27, 2017. The registration fee was Rs. 3750/- for General/OBC candidates and for SC/ST/PwD category candidates, it was Rs. 2750/-. The fee should be remitted through payment gateway at the time of online submission of the form, the payment should be made through debit/credit card or net banking. Registration Started for NEET PG Counselling 2018: Check Schedule

Director General of Health Service (DHGS), the counselling conducting body of NEET PG 2018 started the counselling of NEET PG 2018 from March 17, 2018. Window of the counselling will be from 17th to 24th March (5.00 pm). DGHS is the designated authority which acts on behalf of Medical counselling committee for counselling 50% of all India Quota seats. NBE has released the AIQ rank cards of candidates eligible to participate in NEET PG 2018 AIQ counselling. For the NEET PG Counselling, candidates who have scored at least 321 (general category), 281 (for reserved category) and 300(for UR-PH category) will be eligible to participate in AIQ counselling of NEET PG 2018 which includes post graduate courses for the diploma, MD, MS, DM and M.Ch courses. Attending the counselling is mandatory and failure to do so will result into disqualification. (more…)
